The Mercs have won 2 straight. Could it be that they're tired of sleeping in the basement of the SCSL?
The Titans continue to quietly hold the top spot in their division, much to joy of their fans.

Okay, so the Mercs like it at the bottom... But how about those Titans?!? They have clinched a playoff spot, and they are slowly gaining the respect of Mercs fans throughout the Megopolis/Black Island area. One thing I want everyone to notice, and that's this stat line: No Division B Pld W D L GF-GA Pts CP 1 x-Megopolis Titans 16 8 5 3 15-6 29 2 Look at that Goals Against stat, it's incredible! If my defense/goalkeeping isn't the best in the league, please, show me who's better. The average GA for the rest of the SCSL is 19.8 GA total so far this season. Now if I could only improve in the Goals For (4th lowest in SCSL) area, I would have a hell of a team.

The only problem with that stat is, well, they only scored 15 goals in 16 games. Plus they failed to score against one of the worst teams. ;D

Interesting stat for you: Heights Hornets Striker, R.Finesse had scored a total of 27 goals in 33 games up to and including IRFL Round 12...
Puts your whole teams scoring record into perspective, eh?

Go Titans!!
We have secured a playoff berth!!! Fans throughout the city are celebrating their team that has slowly yet patiently put in the hard work, season after season.
I do believe the it's time to give the Titan's coach a nice raise and bonus.

Remember the Titans!!! The roar could be heard miles away from the city limits as the final whistle blew, and the Megopolis Titans claimed their half of the SCSL Championship game to be held on Tuesday. The entire population crowded the streets to celebrate with their friends and neighbors, all proud to have a shot at the biggest game in Simnation sports. One thing is for sure, from now until Tuesday, the city will be buzzing with smiles and excitement, as people of Megopolis have something to be proud of. That "other team" from Megopolis is in the Mercenaries shadow no more.

Jeffery Given Captain's Band Alan Jeffery, breakout star goolkeeper of the Megopolis Titans, has been chosen to lead his squad in the SCSL Championship game Tuesday. The players were unanymous in their decision and awarded Jeffery the Captain's Band after a short practice Sunday. "I am very honored that my team feels that I deserve this, I hope I can handle the responsibility," Jeffery said. Jeffery has performed brilliantly this season, allowing only 6 goals all season, and allowing no goals during the playoffs. He has played every minute of every game of the season.

RIOTS!!! In what can only be called "lack of preparation," the city of Megopolis erupted into riots late last night after the Titans lost their championship game 1-0. Off-duty police were called in citywide and the Megopolis Fire Department and Megopolis Emergency Medical Services were running rampant trying to handle all of the activity. Things finally calmed down after Black Island sent many of it's police and it's riot squad across the channel to help. Thousand of disorderly conduct citations were issued, and hundreds of more more serious crimes were being investigated. The MPD is expected to release more information as they collect it.
