2-1.
Some people at the Palace forums say 3 of ours got sent off late on in a brawl, but nothing said any where else...
Water breaks were allowed by the Ref in BOTH halfs due to the heat...

Straight from the official Ipswich Town site... "Joe Royle has confirmed that next week he expects to bring in a Premiership defender on a season long loan. The Town boss is also hopeful of adding another loanee to his squad before the League campaign kicks-off. Speaking after the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the friendly at Portman Road, Joe said: "If all goes well, we will be bringing in a defender on loan from a Premiership club for the season. "I would also like another front player here and I am confident of signing a player on loan for that role, possibly next week." Joe: No contact for Pablo With speculation continuing to surround Pablo Counago and Joe accepting that the Club would have to listen to offers for the Spaniard given his higher wages, the Town boss added: "We have had no offers for Pablo at the moment and on his best form, I would be sorry to lose him."

I knew you'd have posted it here...
Flukey 2nd goal, but 1st was quality, and Kelvin Davis played superbly in goal...
