Okay, I've decided to mess with SC4 again. I was thinking how cool it might be to build a city with other people, and have them help run it, i.e. make decisions and vote on stuff for the city.
Of course the city's evolution would be played out on this site like a city journal, but with some added stuff to keep it interesting. You guys know how my imagination can be.
So what do you guys think? Should we run a city together, or is it just a silly idea?

Smurfer, how good are you at building suburbs? I suck at them, I'm better building city centers. So when the actual building phase begins, maybe you and whoever else wants in can do what I suck at doing.

Here is the region I want to use. It is obviously nameless, because I wanted to have all of us decide on the name. The region is broken down into 17 "districts"  Here are my ideas so far: Zone 10 is downtown Zone 11 is major industry and and major port Any other ideas? I definitly want input from whoever wants to participate. |

i definately agree with zones 10 and 11, if you want i could draw up a few transit lines so that you guys can build around them

Nuggs, do you have a high speed connection? If so I'd like to email you the region and let you set up the highway system that runs thru it.
I also need to get some suggestions for the city's name.

hey jeeper, u should upload it onto a free server, like yahoo briefcase or sumthing, just make sure it all fits

Chester Hill

Smurfer, after Nuggs lays out the freeway system, we'll get you working on the suburban districts.
Nuggs, let me do some thinking on the best way to make our city multi-user friendly before we get started.
As far as naming the city, how about each person gives their 2 best choices, and we vote on the final name?
