Great Mac, I have been out of the SC4 loop for so long, I'm sure there are lots of new things to use and methods to build a great city that I don't know about.
Unfortunately, I have about a years worth of STEX to weed thru to bring me up to speed.
Edit: I thought about using a "mega-region" like Yosh uses, but I'm not sure how good of an idea that is. What do you guys suggest?

i say start of with a smallish region, that way we can spend more time on certain parts where if we have a huge region we spend less time on each city. And as you are doing the Stock Market too i don't want you to get backlogged with lots of work

yep, start with a standard sized region. Starting big won't get you anywhere (don't forget, Tempest Lake started with the Berlin map and later expanded.)
