Ok, I'll send my first problem your way.
(Gee you guys created a lot of stuff since I was last here)
This is the second problem I've had with Norton, if it is on, it will prevent my computer from loading. I.e. I can't click on anything. Also, I don't have a disk, I got a product key from Norton for the trialware I had. (it replaced the CD that won't work)
P.S. Hmm, I could have gotten on, but why didn't I... Well, the last serveral days have been busy...

remember your product key and uninstall and re-install it again, see if that does the trick

Hehe, I had the same problem before, so I decided to uninstall it. It won't let me unistall it which also made my cd worthless. So, I got a product key for a trialware version. I'll try it, but I need to see if I have the setup from the trialware. P.S. I personally think it is one of the .dll files that Norton installs....

Probably, right now it's working well turned off. I'll just scan it when I have time.
