hey i've got a question. i've found this urban radio station on the internet, and they broadcast some great mixes, you can listen to them later, but you can't download them. is there a way to record the sound that the soundcard plays? i don't mean like put a mic next to the speaker, but just record what Sb-Live audio or mircosoft direct sound plays. i've tried some programs like foobar2000 or EAC but somehow the don't get any signal, while i'm listening to the music. i've used foobar2000 before to record sounds, but somehow it doesn't work now. i hope you understand what i mean, it's quite hard to explain because my english isn't very good. but any help would be nice. thank you in advance bye

I understand what you're asking, but I'm not sure how to help. I know that there is a way to do it, but I'm not sure what program you need. Sorry.

doesn't matter. i think i'm just going to loop the signal from the output to the mic input, that must work. thanks. and nice avatar btw.

Creative Mediasource. Your soundcard should have one bundled.

well, i found the problem why i didn't get an input. the soundcard used the mic input for recording, after some time i realised that i had to put it on wave sound. but thans for the reply's ;D

www.radio538.nl/538/juizefm/index.jspJuizeFm. it's online only for now, but they broadcast a couple of hours in the evening @ radio 538. you can listen the largest parts of those mixes at the link soundbytes, some of them are great, some are very bad. the radio itself is a mix between rap/r&b/hip hop and other 'urban' sounds.
