About the Statue of Liberty. 1.Then why was it ever in France and built by a frenchman? 2. Why did all of New York celebrate it's (statue's) 200th birthday years ago?
Apparrently various news channels are all wrong, and I guess the history channel is wrong too. Oh well....

Years ago was the 200 hundredth birthday of the U.S. Never said it wasn't in France, just said it was finally put together in the U.S. Edit: Whoops, hehe, what I meant was all the pieces of the statue were shipped from France and then put together on top of the pedistal. That work was finished in 1886. You wouldn't mind removing the French from that equation would you?

OK, so the History Channel WAS wrong. It's happened before....lol. Anyway, I found out some info that the next flightsim might be kind of like a "people's choice" version. It tries to fix all sorts of things but Microsoft is also changing it for what people want to see--- :'(translation: A lot of improved features but no small airplanes, or helicopters, or anything with a prop on it. Only the largest airports will be focused on and airliners will be the main theme of the flightsim. This is what most people are hoping to see in the flightsim community. I am in a very small minority for what type of aircraft I like. Conclusion: I won't be buying it. I'll wait and see what they have in store for us in 2008. I don't even touch the jetliners. I only fly small or medium sized prop planes, usually vintage, and I also enjoy helicopters. There may not be support for anything but large jets anymore. Oh well, around 94% of all flightsimmers worldwide enjoy the big jets or some type of modern jet thing(based on their poll) so I guess in the long run for Microsoft, they'll do good with the next product. But I'll stick with FS2004. From -SeanTK P.S. Thanks for looking at my tour, guys!!

Trust me, even if they focus on the jetliners in 06 and/or 08, there's gonna be plenty of downloadable props and other aircraft. The talent in the FS9 community when it comes to design and layout of aircraft is truely incredible.

I'd say buy it, knowing the community, you can keep flying the planes you like. How often do you fly Microsoft aircraft anyways? (I bet I missed something again...)
